Frequently Asked Questions

When is trash picked up?

  • Trash pickup is on Friday mornings.
  • Residential trash pickup is limited to items that fit into the carts provided for collection.
  • Bulky items should be taken to the Halifax County Landfill located at 921 Liles Road in Littleton. Residents may also dispose of bulky items at Halifax County Convenience Centers located throughout the County.

What day is my water bill due?

Water bills are due on the 1st of each month.  You have until the 15th of the month to pay without a late charge.  After the 15th of each month a $5.00 late fee applies.  Cutoffs begin on the 26th of the month.

When does the board meeting take place?

The Board meeting is always on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00PM at the Town Hall.
