As of 11/1/2021, Roanoke Electric/Broadband Operations (the source for the Town WIFI) advised the hardware installation was almost complete to start the pilot program for the Town.

  The pilot program will consist of at least 6 residents throughout town and testing of the WIFI will last a few weeks.  Once this testing is complete, all residents who are interested for WIFI will be allowed to pre-register.  Also part of this will be Public WIFI availability in the commercial and government districts of town.  

This is a great step forward for all residents and visitors to the Town of Halifax!
