2026 is the 250th Anniversary of both the Halifax Resolves & Declaration of Independence, so mark your calendars to join us on Sunday, April 12th in Downtown Halifax for this year's celebration!

Throughout the day, the Historic site's newly renovated Visitor's Center will be open from 10am-5pm. There will be historic building tours, a Continental Army encampment & market, living history demonstrations at the Bradford-Denton House, as well as tours of the Royal White-Hart Masonic Lodge, demonstrations of tar pitch & turpentine at the Edward Cheek House, self-guided tours of the Underground Railroad Trail, & special ceremonies. The Bass House will be open for shoppers & there will be a vendor market inside The Hen & The Hog from Noon-5pm.
